Coded Bias Screening and Discussion

You are invited to an upcoming Sigma Xi sponsored event at Mason. A screening and discussion of the film Coded Bias will be held on Wednesday October 13, 2021, 6:30-9pm, JC Cinema

Join Mason faculty and students to watch and discuss the documentary Coded Bias, which investigates bias in artificial intelligence algorithms and facial recognition software. After the screening, a panel of Mason experts in computer science and artificial intelligence will share their perspectives and answer questions.

Registration will be limited to 150 people. This screening is sponsored by the George Mason University pod of 500 Women Scientists and the Mason chapter of Sigma Xi.
