    Hi Alaska Sigma Xi Chapter members,

    The University of New Mexico Chapter has invited everyone to attend their next monthly talk titled "Nuclear Waste: THE Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" by Christopher Perfetti. It will be on Thursday, Feb 20 @ 330 pm AKST (530 MST). The flyer is attached.

    I'm still waiting for a flyer to share, but we (the Alaska Chapter of Sigma Xi) will be hosting George Veni for a lecture titled "The World Below: An Introduction to Caves and Karst" on Friday, Feb 28 @ noon AKST. The lecture will be publicly available at Sealaska Heritage Institute (in the clan house if you are in Juneau) and live-streamed (and recorded) on Sealaska Heritage Institute's YouTube Channel. 

    Let me know if you have lectures or events to share with our Alaska Chapter of Sigma Xi.
