Dear Colleague,
The next meeting of the Sigma Xi DC Chapter's American Scientist Journal Club will take place on Tuesday, April 7, at 6:30 pm, virtually, on Zoom. The link is: https://sigmaxi-org.zoom.us/j/89340900790?pwd=nu2uasRu3g1FQvHWcw1B8SEZ39rCGb.1
There are quite a few interesting articles in the current (March-April) issue of American Scientist. It's been hard to choose.
I recommend we discuss (a) Digatkin and Bergstrom: Humbled by Evolution, page 80, and (b) Seligman: The Discovery of Dark Comets, page 96. We can also leave some time to discuss any of the other articles in the issue.
I hope you can join us for this discussion.
With best regards,
Edward Celarier, President
DC Chapter, Sigma-Xi
