The Ohio State Chapter of Sigma Xi has a new outreach opportunity! In partnership with Bloom Carroll High School, Sigma Xi members will have the chance to mentor high school students as they prepare projects for the 2019 State Science Day science fair competition. Mentors will be accessible to students via email and/or phone to provide constructive general feedback, and have two one-on-one meetings with students in the coming year. Project areas include Microbiology, Biomedical Science, Environmental Science, Botany, Chemistry, and more! However, a mentor does not need to specialize in the same area as the project interest in order to assist a student.
