A discussion ensued on the above topic a few days ago on the RDC Community, and everyone (all >20,000 members) received quite a few email messages as a result. Some objected to it, and some asked to be removed from the list of those receiving such messages..
While the original post was undoubeedly well-meaning and seriously intended, so much so that I -- probably inappropriately -- "approved" the original post and some others, I came to realize that such discussions, where many have different points of view are better undertaken in THE LAB community.
