  • 2020 Georgia Tech Sigma Xi Faculty Research Awards

    I am pleased to let you know that nominations are now open for the 2020 Sigma Xi Faculty Research Awards sponsored by the Georgia Tech Chapter of Sigma Xi in three categories: Sustained Research Award, Best Paper Award, and Young Faculty Award, with a deadline of March 2, 2020 (Monday):

    These awards are made possible by the generous support of the Georgia Tech Research Corporation and the Ferst Foundation of Atlanta. All awards will be presented at the Sigma Xi Georgia Tech Chapter’s Spring Banquet in the evening of April 23 (Thursday). The faculty award winners will also be honored at the Georgia Tech Faculty and Staff Honors Luncheon on Friday, April 24; see

    Nominations for awards should be submitted by a school or a GTRI laboratory. Each category has limited number of nominations that can be submitted per unit. Details can be found at

    Please note that student award nominations are due by February 7 (Friday), 2020 (per previous solicitation).
