Some of you might have noticed that Virginia Tech graduate student Sydney Hope was mentioned in the last American Scientist Magazine. She was a 2014 winner of a Grants in Aid of Research award for $700, and one of our $1000 Graduate Student winners in past years.
News archive-Sydney HopeMy graduate student Matthew Kocher was just notified that he also won a Grants in Aid of Research Award ($500) for his work in Prader-Willi Syndrome. That's 2 for Virginia Tech--please let us know if any of your other students might have won these. We'd like to make sure your students become members if they are not already.
