Upon reaching the end of my term as Director of the Mid-Atlantic Region I want to say thank you for the honor and privilege of serving and wish incoming Director Daniel Rubenstein all the best. There is much to do on behalf of Science and Engineering, indeed all of STEM, around the world, and I firmly believe that Sigma Xi is poised to play a major role in improving the lot of scientists and engineers as we move forward. I will remain active in Sigma Xi to help accomplish that, and I hope you will as well. (If you are not yet active in Sigma Xi, I encourage you to become active.) Again, thank you for the privilege of serving as Director; be well; provide support to your colleagues; and don't touch your face without first washing your hands.
