Dear Members of Virginia Tech Chapter of Sigma Xi
This week we will have our induction ceremony for new members—Wednesday May 4th, 3-5 PM in the Integrated Life Sciences Building Lobby area. The announcement is attached. Award winners will present a poster, and be inducted into the society. Light refreshments will be served, as well as a champagne toast following the induction ceremony. You are invited to join us on Wednesday. If members of your lab are not a member of Sigma Xi, but wish to be considered for nomination, please let me know. There is still time to join for this year!
Feel free to also let others know about Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Honor Society. For those of you who are new, or continuing members, we will be having an officer election for the 2022-2023 year soon. Please let us know if you are interested in any positions.
