The Undergraduate Research Symposium, or the "Meeting of the Minds," is a university-wide celebration of undergraduate research. Students from across the university showcase their work from the previous year. The Sigma Xi poster competition is an independently sponsored event within the Undergraduate Research Symposium. Coordinated by the Carnegie Mellon chapter of Sigma Xi, the competition is open to students presenting posters in the quantitative sciences. In the past, this has included students from the life sciences, physical sciences, engineering, and quantitative social sciences, as well as interdisciplinary topics.

Judges are needed for both the morning and afternoon competitions.

9:30 - 10:00 New judge training and judging team coordination
10:00 - 12:30 Poster judging
12:30 - Lunch and discipline winner selection

Finals Poster Competition
2:30 - 3:00 Judge check-in and coordination
3:00 - 5:00 Poster judging
5:00 - 5:15 Winner selection
