The Student Research Conference is an opportunity for high school, undergraduate, and graduate students to:

  • Compete for poster presentation awards
  • Earn nominations to membership in Sigma Xi, the world's largest, multidisciplinary research honor society
  • Meet professional scientists and engineers as well as peers
  • Advance science communication skills

All presenters earn nominations to associate membership in Sigma Xi. The top-ranked presenters in each research discipline earn a monetary award and a year of free membership in the Society.
