Our Ohio State Chapter of Sigma Xi will hold its 118th Annual Banquet on April 6, 2017 at 5pm at the Ohio Union. Our banquet brings together all our members for a collegial evening of interaction and celebration of the research accomplishments of OSU researchers. Students who win top awards at campus research events are invited and this event provides an excellent chance to meet interdisciplinary faculty and students from throughout the University. This year we plan to have a poster session and reception starting at 5 pm before we begin the banquet at 6:30 pm. This poster session will be open to our members and also include some of the award winning students from other research events. The keynote lecture on “Building tools and machines out of DNA” will be presented by Dr. Carlos Castro from the OSU Laboratory for Nanoengineering and Biodesign.
